Mud and hay which has came off farm vehicles and in such quantities that it has covered our road frontage and more troubling, mixed with rain to cause our drains to be blocking and flooding the front rooms of our building. The road level is so built up from multiple resurfacing with no consideration for the drop being created to our entrance.

Great news, we’ve had a look at the issue and we have now passed to our Highways Officers for the team to assess what can be done to resolve the matter. We’ll let you know when the assessment has taken place.

Good Morning,
The reason why it is not an issue any longer is because we had to clean up the mess so that it would not cause further risk to our drainage, mess to our entrance or risk of vehicles losing traction from the build up of mud and hay around our primary entrance to our business.
The hay is still falling in large amounts from passing trucks which have no netting to cover the bales.
We reported this 19th Oct with photos and it has taken until 7th Nov for it to be inspected. By 25th Oct we had to take action ourselves to put the issue right.
