5, 6 & 7 Gilder Way Fishtoft.

Reported via desktop in the Flowing water, life or property at risk category by Malcolm Haynes at 11:17, Fri 20 October 2023

Sent to Lincolnshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 474739.

Due to constant rainfall the drains cannot take the water away. Thus flooding the driveways of the aforementioned homes. It also creates a swimming pool in the road. This happens every time it rains and has been reported before. A new drain was put in but this has not solved the problem.

  • Thank you! Which drain? Is anyone coming to discuss the issue with us? You say it’s complicated and needs more investigation. I haven’t seen any evidence of investigation (Saturday 20:51) yet someone makes a decision (Sunday 09:07) to clean the drain! When is the next “schedule of works”? Who can we contact to discuss this? This situation happens almost every time it rains.

  • October 2023 - “We will clean the drain at the next schedule of works”. Is it possible to say when this schedule will take place! Or even which drain you are contemplating? Having seen no evidence of an investigation it would be helpful for someone to visit me so as it can be investigated further. Thank you,
