Bridge Road and Churchgate
Sent to Lincolnshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 475068.
Drains are continuously blocked on Bridge Road from outside Feldbinder past the Co-Op and all the way down Churchgate. The water doesn't drain away for up to 4 hours after rainfall. You have unblocked drains before but it doesn't solve the problem. The water runs along Bridge Road, down to the lowest point which is Churchgate and gathers there. It needs much further investigation as cleaning the drains hasn't solved the problem. The water level rises above kerb height very quickly and could cause flooding to houses in the future.
This has been going on for over 6 years now.

You have previously cleaned the drains but it doesn't solve the problem. I feel that this needs further investigation because for all the drains along this section of Bridge Road and Churchgate to all be blocked at the same time indicates a more serious issue.

Road is still flooding on an almost weekly basis. Can I please have an update as to what is going to be done?

You came out to unblock the drains last week but the road is still flooding even after moderate rain. There is clearly a deeper issue going on here. This photo was taken two days after drains were cleaned.
