Pothole on pavement/verge problem

customer has called to say the drain outside his property is blocked and not draining away water, also the customer has said that works was done on the road which has raised the road to the same as his drive this wss the same for next door who complained and we came out and raised his kerb

  • The County has received a large amount of rainfall in a short space of time and as such we are having to prioritise flooding sites which pose a risk to life or significant risk of internal flooding. It’s worth noting that at times of extreme weather even well-maintained drains can become overwhelmed and at the moment gullies may not be able to drain away into watercourses which are full or backing up. If the problem happens again but in less extreme conditions then please report this to us and we will investigate the issue again. Rest assured that our we will be inspecting all drains and gullies in the coming weeks once the emergency response is over.
