The County has received a large amount of rainfall in a short space of time and as such we are having to prioritise flooding sites which pose a risk to life or significant risk of internal flooding. It’s worth noting that at times of extreme weather even well-maintained drains can become overwhelmed and at the moment gullies may not be able to drain away into watercourses which are full or backing up. If the problem happens again but in less extreme conditions then please report this to us and we will investigate the issue again. Rest assured that our we will be inspecting all drains and gullies in the coming weeks once the emergency response is over.
If your enquiry is not related to flooding please rest assured that we will be assessing the issue you've reported and will respond to you again.State changed to: No further action

Thanks for letting us know about the issue. The responsibility of this would fall with the homeowner/landlord as it is a driveway. Thank you for reporting this matter.

Hi, On the 27th September Ewan Murray the Arboricultural officer came to inspect a tree outside my property on council land, he clearly said this driveway is a hazard and it needs attention and it is on council land.
My deeds also show this to be the case, I look forward to your reply.
Kind regards Anthony McDonald
