After almost 4 years (Jan. 2020) this demolished street light has not been replaced. Please could this matter be addressed urgently as Winter approaches and the South side of Olive Street remains in deep shadow from junction of Castle Street up to No13. Thank you.

Progress! We’ve completed our investigation and works are now planned. Once we know when work is due to take place we will let you know.

And they removed the much needed dog poo bin. the council has clearly gone to the dogs. please fix asap

With reference to above: demolished and removed streetlight Ref no. 476556. a update on works was promised within 14 days of 28th October 2023. The only progress to date appears to be a yellow cross on the footpath where the former lamp column stood. Is there a fixed date for a new lamp to be erected? The four year anniversary will soon be here.

Please would you let me know what progress has been made with regard to providing a replacement streetlight adjacent to Norman House Bowls Club on Olive Street. Ref. 476556. First reported over 4 years ago. No confirmation on progress was made as promised on 28th October 2023.

We have an update. Our highways team have issued this work out to one of their delivery gangs. We’ll let you know when the job is complete.

We’ve had a look at the street light and found that it’s not working because there’s a problem with the power supply. We’ve reported this to the electricity board. Once they have fixed getting power to the light we will re-inspect it and schedule any further repairs if necessary.
