Highway verge both sidesof Pilham Lane, Pilham
Reported via mobile in the Tree/hedge restricting available highway category anonymously at 13:20, Sat 28 October 2023
Sent to Lincolnshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 476568.
Following a tree down in high wind on 20th October your Operatives have moved the fallen tree / parts on to both verges of Pilham Lane. The verges are now blocked and large pieces of tree trunk and branches etc. are close to the highway. Visibility is restricted at the T junction on Pilham Lane. The danger on this stretch of road is being exacerbated by members of the public stopping on both sides of the road to collect and saw branches for firewood creating accident potential at the junction. Could you please give some accuaracy as to when the debris will be removed. Thank you.

We are sorry but we are not taking immediate action with this report because our tree arboricultural officer and a highways officer have visited the site and determined that this is a private boundary tree. When inspecting the impact to the highway, it has been determined that although there is still some debris present, it is not affecting the use or safety of the highway. Thank you for reporting this matter.
State changed to: No further action
