Appalling condition of pavements and pathways between Renault Drive and Shopping centre in Bracebridge Heath. I attempted to travel to shops from my home using my electric buggy for the first time recently. The outward journey was terrifying so I returned home on the opposite pathway. This proved to be equally nerve wracking. By the time I got home I was so shaken I was out of action for three days. I have lived here for twelve years and until March this years, because of my arthritris and general poor health, was driven by my husband. Sadly he died in March and I have been virtually housebound since my terrifying trip. We moved to Bracebridge Heath as it ticked all the boxes for our needs-sadly that no longer applies. I have spoken to numerous people who all agree that these pavements and pathways are desperately in need of attention.
