Blocked/Damaged Dyke outside of Mill House, Lincoln Road.

Sent to Lincolnshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 478419.

Customer has stated that there is a blocked and overflowing dyke going across Mill House, the dyke isn't flowing properly and it also goes under the road as well.

There is stagnant water on the other side of the road so there is a problem with the flow of water.

  • Great news, we’ve had a look at the issue and we have now passed to our Highways Officers for the team to assess what can be done to resolve the matter. We’ll let you know when the assessment has taken place.

  • This fault is not on the publicly maintainable highway. It is the responsibility of the adjacent landowner to maintain their dykes, ditches and culverts. To find the owner of the land you could contact Land Registry at https://www.gov.uk/ government/ organisations/ land-registry Thank you for reporting this matter.
