Outside Merton Lodge Alford Pavement area

Reported via desktop in the Collapsed verge category by Mike Jones at 14:39, Sat 11 November 2023

Sent to Lincolnshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 478524.

Not sure of responsibility on this one as theer are access plates adjacent the damage. The extent is such that an elderly person or child leaving the surgery to cross over to the chemist could easily trip and fall into the path of an oncoming vehicle. Like I say, not 100% certain on responsibility as it looks like access plates to services but involves the pavement as well.

  • This is getting alot worse it's incredibly dangerous now all that's been done is a temporary cover been put on but nothing else someone is going to get seriously hurt if not careful . It's mot safe to walk over and not enough room around it for a mobility scooter, walker or push chair. So what are we supposed to do walk in the road ?

  • Getting worse . Nothing been done to it since before christmas now. Are just waiting for someone to get seriously hurt before something gets done other than cones on each corner which keep getting moved each day by youths .

  • Very very disappointed. As has been mentioned this eyesore and hazerdous area has been like this for months. No idea if a claim has been made by the blind lady that fell over on the bollards?????

  • So now there's only one cone. Something needs doing as like it Is makes it even bigger safety risk as if someone steps on it the covers are not secure and moving and risk them collapsing . This is taking way too long to be fixed .
