Clearly this has not been fixed so not really sure why you're update on the 16th of November says that the work has been completed?

Going up Doddington Road towards the Doddington roundabout, just before the Birchwood Avenue right turn, there is a centre road island with two Keep Left illuminated bollards. The first one is missing, replaced by a traffic cone. On Thursday 15 February I was preparing to turn into Birchwood Avenue on a heavily raining, dark early evening, could not see the cone to replace the missing bollard, no light, and mounted the island kerb. This caused considerable damage to offside front and back wheels, tyres and suspension. The cost of new tyres, a new wheel and wheel alignment has been £520.
The cone to replace the bollard has been there for some time and continues to be there so the danger, especially at night,. continues. This is gross neglect of safety and carelessness of the danger. I would like your comment on the subsequent cost involved for this one driver and any consequences in drawing this to your attention. Roger Ellis

We’ve been to the site and investigated the issue. We couldn’t get this sorted just yet and more work is needed. We’ll keep you informed about how this progresses.
