Footpath Outside 142 Bridge End Road
Reported via desktop in the Problem at LCC roadworks category anonymously at 17:10, Thu 16 November 2023
Sent to Lincolnshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 479138.
We did report this a few years ago, but nothing was done.
The downpipe feeds into a drain that goes across the footpath to the kerb. The water keeps backing up and overflowing at the joint in the RWP and is causing damp issues. We employed a contractor to take a look and solve the problem to find out that you have allowed the cable contractor to just cut through the pipe and install their equipment etc with no regard to damaging the RWP. We need the RWP reinstating and for the cable contractor to remove their equipment or move it deeper so that the original RWP can be reinstated.
We assume the works was done under license and that was approved by LCC.
Please call me on 07951 355306 to discuss.
We can undertake the works ourselves if needed, but will remove the cable contractors equipment that is causing the problem. Obviously, the cable contractor will have to make their own arrangements to divert their cables away from the drain / RWP.

Why are you closing the matter. NO!!
This is a problem created by a contractor that was allowed to install a cable and they damaged the RW pipe. Please tell you contractor to remove their cable and box and reinstate the RW pipe as it was, for many many years before the cable.
You can not just close the matter and hope it goes away. Please call me on 07951 355306 to agree what can be done.
Thank you
Trevor Briggs
