Water rising from catch pit lifting drain cover creating a trip hazard plus excees water flowing down West Street.

  • Great news, we’ve had a look at the issue and we have now passed to our Highways Officers for the team to assess what can be done to resolve the matter. We’ll let you know when the assessment has taken place.

  • Thanks for getting in touch with us. In this case, we’re not responsible for this issue. However, Anglian Water is as this is their asset (their manhole ref 7451) . Site visit undertken by HO 20.11.2023 reported defect not found and manhole was sercure in the ground. Should this happen again following rainfall, please report to Anglian Water directly who will investigate.
