East side of Ancaster Avenue
Reported via desktop in the Standing water covering less than half the road category anonymously at 11:05, Sunday 19 November 2023
Sent to Lincolnshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 479395.
The drains along the whole route of Ancaster Avenue are either sunken or blocked by vegetation. These drains are under the kerbing. Each time it rains the road becomes flooded from the Surgery up to Margaret House on the east side. This flooding has got worse over the last year and now takes up most of the lane of traffic at this point. I have noticed flooding of a similar nature further up the street on the east side. It is clear a lack of clearing the vegetation from all the drains has caused this. Unless the whole drainage system under the street has been severely damaged.
