At lowest point of road near Wheelabout Wood entrance

Reported via mobile in the Standing water covering more than half the road category anonymously at 20:14, Monday 20 November 2023

Sent to Lincolnshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 479638.

Has been an ongoing problem for most of the winter. Problem exacerbated by HGV's using the road which is clearly signed unsuitable. I believe it to be a broken or blocked drain but flooding is now the normal state.

  • We’re sending you this message to let you know that we’ve assessed the road condition and unfortunately there are no Lincolnshire County Council drainage assets here. The lie of the road and its non-proximity to any drainage ditches prohibit any being installed. The signs for HGVs are advisory and non-enforceable in this case. This will be monitored on going inspections. If the fault deteriorates significantly then please report this again to us and we will investigate further. Thank you for reporting this matter.

State changed to: No further action
