John Adam’s Way. Haven Bridge traffic lights, Boston
Sent to Lincolnshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 479736.
The timings on the traffic lights turning off of JA Way onto SouthEnd heading towards the docks, could be altered to allow more cars through. It seems the timings were not changed when the right turning off of SouthEnd onto JA Way was removed!? If this was altered so that the traffic lights turning onto SouthEnd changed at the same time as the lights letting traffic from SouthEnd onto JA Way. I calculate another 8/10 cars would pass through each time the lights were on Green! Alleviating congestion on Haven bridge.

Great news, we’ve had a look at the issue and we have now passed to our Highways Officers for the team to assess what can be done to resolve the matter. We’ll let you know when the assessment has taken place.
