These bollards at the junction are still unlit. They have been out of action quite a while now.

30th November 2023, it states works were planned on these bollards. It is now 4 months since that was stated and they are still not fixed.

Still not working, still no update from LCC. What makes this worse is that the two street lights on the A17 on either side of this T junction are also unlit so the whole junction is totally unmarked at night.

LCC were “investigating” this back in November 27th November 2023. It’s now 5 months later, so it must be a long investigation. Expect better tbh.

We have an update. Our highways team have issued this work out to one of their delivery gangs. We’ll let you know when the job is complete.

The whole junction is unlit. The bollards don’t work and three streetlights are out in that very vicinity. This has been reported not only by myself but others and yet it’s still not fixed. This was reported originally November 2023 and still ongoing! That’s almost 6 months now.

We’ve had a look at the street light and found that it’s not working because there’s a problem with the power supply. We’ve reported this to the electricity board. Once they have fixed getting power to the light we will re-inspect it and schedule any further repairs if necessary.
