18 High Street Ruskington
Reported via desktop in the Road Markings category anonymously at 12:43, Thu 30 November 2023
Sent to Lincolnshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 480850.
Double yellow lines have worn away along Ruskington High Street South, vehicles are parking where double yellow lines used to be which means other vehicles and large delivery vans have to mount to kerb to get past, this is now causing significant damage to the kerb edges. This also poses as a risk to the small businesses and their customers along this stretch of road.
Yellow box markings are required outside 18High street please as cars are frequently blocking access to the yard of 18 High Street which means vehicles cannot enter or exit safely/or at all. If access is blocked, taxis are forced to park on the high street- taking up valuable parking spaces unnecessarily. Taxis are often blocked in the yard for a considerable amount of time by vehicles which have been parked incorrectly, hindering the service the small business is able to provide.
Thank you

Is there any update to this please. Workers were seen on site before Christmas, however there has been no work completed or any change to the situation. Vehicles are continuing to restrict access the yard, mount the kerb. Many thanks
