All the area around this bin is dangerous, especially for the elderly in the care home very close by

Today an elderly lady slipped very close to the empty grit box because normally members of the public use this bin due to their being a residential home next to it, if the council don’t come along to dread it. But sadly this bin is empty so there is every chance someone could have a very serious accident in this area. It is also very close to a school and if children were to loose their footing and vehicles unable to stop just adds to the severity of the situation.
