Reported via iOS in the Standing water covering less than half the road category anonymously at 16:41, Mon 4 December 2023

Sent to Lincolnshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 481385.

Water runs down to this low point on Fold Hill, the road gulley is on the opposite side of the road where the road is higher. The flooded road is deep and this makes it dangerous to walk on this side of the road. It is also eroding the verge and damaging the road next to the main Anglian Water pipe into the village.

  • Why have we closed this report? We cleaned this areas drains in the last year and our last inspection showed that they are working well. It’s worth noting though that at times of extreme weather even well-maintained drains like these can be overwhelmed. If the problem happens again but in less extreme conditions then please report this to us and we will investigate the issue again. Thank you for reporting this matter.

State changed to: No further action
