Allington road under railway bridge

Under bridge is flooding in almost every rainfall there is no drainage and can take days to clear, this is the main road from Allington to the A52 and is causing danger with the amount of vehicles trying to go through the flood water and breaking down

This stretch of road under the bridge has flooded 8 times in the last 9 weeks. It’s affecting the full road surface between Sedgebrook and Allington and will cost highways more in the long run. Than it will for them to fix it now

Great news, we’ve had a look at the issue and we have now passed to our Highways Officers for the team to assess what can be done to resolve the matter. We’ll let you know when the assessment has taken place.
