Pedestrian crossing on Ropery Road near Drill Hall
Reported via desktop in the Standing water covering less than half the road category anonymously at 19:59, Fri 8 December 2023
Sent to Lincolnshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 482059.
Every time there's heavy rain, the drains are blocked and the water covers the road. When a car goes past, it sprays the water onto the footpath and pedestrians and cyclists get soaked. This problem has existed for years and a more permanent solution needs to be found to stop the drains from blocking up in the first place.
