Sent to Lincolnshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 483147.
Cause of blockage unknown but drain not empty. When it rains the drain over flows and when vehicles drive past it big spray of water sprays up over the pathway and onto the fronts of our houses/ doors and windows. Plus the water lays on road in a puddle outside number 18, so it gets sprayed twice with water. Both houses have got erosion on the brick work from this problem also.

This problem has been going on for over a year. This has been reported on this site twice now. The drains are blocked from near number 18 all the way up to the barbershop opposite the ship Albion pub. The council has sent out a team to clean the gullies but the pipe running between the gullies under the road is blocked. This will only be fixed when they jet the pipes.

We have an update. Our highways team have issued this work out to one of their delivery gangs. We’ll let you know when the job is complete.
