Sent to Lincolnshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 483236.
Heavy Goods vehicles have been using the area and have been struggling to get around the corner. The vehicles have been going onto the verge and the kerbs have now collapsed and are uneven. Also, the area has recently been dug up and is uneven along with tyre marks/ruts in the grass.

This has continued to be an issue and the kerb stones have collapsed further after a Telecomms vehicle parked on the verges to carry out maintenance on the overhead cables. This is in addition to the damage already caused to the curb stones and grassed area by HGV that are not able to navigate the turn into and out of High street and Chapel Lane and the damage caused by ground works.

Thankyou for your enquiry. The Verges will recover once dry weather returns. Currently this is a low priority concern due to its cosmetic nature. Thankyou for reporting this matter.

Hi and Thankyou for your reply about the cosmetic nature. I would just like to reiterate that the kerb has also collapsed in multiple areas due to the HGV on the building site. The grassed area, I can repair but the roadside I cannot. Regards Andrew Gill
