Bailey Walls, Skeldyke Road. Kirton
Reported via desktop in the Standing water covering more than half the road category anonymously at 09:58, Tue 19 December 2023
Sent to Lincolnshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 483694.
Good morning, Further to yesterday's visit by your repair team and the closing of that complaint as "fixed" I am writing to inform you that the original problem is now actually WORSE than before. Your repair team (after sittng in the lorry for 40 minutes before they did anything) simply tipped the type 1 into the eroded area of the road and spread it with a rake!?! This needs fixing properly - spread with a gradient and compacted - not just tipped in the hole!! As you can see from the attached photos, the pooling of the water is no better at all. I have again forwarded these photos to my solicitor and we will now be taking further action against you. Regards

We are sorry but we are not taking immediate action with this report because the repairs carried out by our contractor were as previously agreed. Type 1 stone has been added to make the areas close to the verge area safe, no further action will be taken. Thank you for reporting this matter.
