From start of road down to private road
Sent to Lincolnshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 484217.
Over 60 potholes of 40mm depth and more. Road crumbling away at multiple points. Bridge crumbling and dropping down. Road sagging at multiple points. This is the only access in and out for 6 houses, causing problems for vehicles. Also Anglain Water works to start early new year and is the heavy plant access on the road. Bridge has dropped in height over 3 years and is a big concern.

Great news, we’ve had a look at the issue and we have now passed to our Highways Officers for the team to assess what can be done to resolve the matter. We’ll let you know when the assessment has taken place.

Progress! We’ve completed our investigation and works are now planned. Once we know when work is due to take place we will let you know.

Thank you for the information and report of the issues. Following an officer visit, a job has been raised for repair works with the Jetpatcher resource. This is not available until the new FY, however this job will be added to the programme. In the meantime should these issues worsen and are re-reported then an officer will revisit. Thankyou for reporting this matter.

Road is getting a lot worse, potholes getting deeper. Road is falling apart. Driving down the road is becoming a problem. As this is the only way in and out to the houses, this needs sorting sooner rather than later. There has already been damage to a car due to the condition of the road. The bridge is starting to fail too. There are too many problems to take pictures off and list.

We have an update. Our highways team have issued this work out to one of their delivery gangs. We’ll let you know when the job is complete.

Road hasn’t been fixed or finished. They have firstly put chipping on a private road! Which was fine and made worse. They have not finished the chipping son the council road they have laid. Also not done the worst part of the road at all. This has made road worse and now needs more work due to bad workmanship and not doing the correct parts. This is the only access in and out to the properties and now is compromising access and also emergency access.

Also to add the worst parts of the road were left, the contractors said on site that they would be back to finish the whole job and would need tarmac for the worst parts of the road.
The private road that had been chipped needs cleaning off and reinstating back to the correct condition. Firstly not your road to work on and was perfectly fine and now worse and have caused damage to the private road.
All works need doing correctly and to a high standard. Please send a manager from highways to see what has been done and not done. Then to rectify.
