  • This report was changed to investigating on 16 Jan, but no further update has been received. The verge continues to get worse due to a heavy vehicle being permanently parked on it. The trip hazard caused by this is also getting worse, especially in the hours of darkness

  • Still no action, its been 5 weeks since the status was changed to investigating. The recent pictures show that the verge has now been almost totally destroyed by the work vehicle which is parked on there every day

  • Its now 2 months since this report was changed to investigating, and no further action has been taken. The picture above shows the current state of the verge. The bus continues to park there every day despite the wet weather, and I estimate the ruts to be 6 inches deep in places. It will take considerable effort and expense to return the verge to its former state.

  • Its now 3 months since the report was changed to investigating. Nothing has been done, and the situation continues to deteriorate. Is anyone taking any notice at all??

  • We are sorry but we are not taking immediate action with this report because We have spoken with the company involved and politely requested that they refrain from parking on the verge and to park on the road if it safe to do so. However, anyone can park on the verge as long as their vehicle is legally allowed to be on the road. If it is not, then the Police should be informed. If the vehicle is obstructing an access (driveway) it is a Police matter as access has to be maintained and cannot be blocked. You can contact them on https://www.lincs.police.uk/ Thank you for reporting this matter.
