Newton Sleaford. All drains

Sent to Lincolnshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 486519.

As previously reported, many drains are blocked. Previous response was that they would be cleaned in the usual cycle. However, the blocked drains at both high and low levels have contributed significantly to recent flooding and resulted in a risk to life. The fire brigade has cleared some debris and mentioned that the debris they found dated back c100 years. There is no resilience in the system around Newton and all drains require a complete clean of all debris. This issue has been reported to the County Council.
