Southgate. The pavement on the bridge over the river. There has been recent road works here to strengthen the bridge.

Sent to Lincolnshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 486686.

The paving slabs have not been replaced properly after the road works were completed. Loose and uneven slabs causing trip hazards.

  • Great news, we’ve had a look at the issue and we have now passed to our Highways Officers for the team to assess what can be done to resolve the matter. We’ll let you know when the assessment has taken place.

  • The slabs have now cracked because they were not levelled correctly after they were refitted. There are quite a few loose slabs and one protrudes about an inch higher, I had a minor trip on this yesterday. The pavement on the opposite side is not much better. This was all avoidable if the gang who did the bridge repairs had re laid these slabs properly.
