Culvert under road bridge on Vicarage Lane

Sent to Lincolnshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 486833.

There is something impeding the flow of water through one of the culverts. This has already been reported and discounted by your staff as being no problem in September 2023. There have been several days since then before Christmas and now this week when Parish Council staff and Parish Councillors have had to take remedial action in order to prevent the Beck overtopping. The flow of water brings branches and twigs which block the entrance to the culverts. Many have been removed. However, there may be one or several lodged in this particular culvert. The difference in flow of the water was observed by me today and has been confirmed by another Parish Councillor who supports the original report of a blockage in this particular culvert. I recognise that your department is extremely busy at the present time and you have other priorities. However, we would appreciate someone coming to look at this in the near future. In the meantime, we will continue to monitor it and inform you of any change/ improvement.
