The purpose of this note is to thank the fire service for pumping a body of standing water that threatened our house ( no 17 Station Rd, Little Bytham ) during the evening of Tuesday 2 nd Jan. Their timely intervention managed to avoid any water entering our house - for this we are extremely grateful ! Please pass on my thanks to your fire personnel involved. Geoff Howard
