Sent to Lincolnshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 489104.
Roadside drain not functioning with build up of surface water running on road and this despite the weather being dryer recently. Reported first of all to North Kesteven who advised to contact Highways at Lincolnshire County Council. Longer term Howell residents advised that something similar occurred in the past with the problem then being caused by a drain backed up across the road. Would appreciate help to resolve as very messy with inconvenience to road users as well in front of our house entrance.

Great news, we’ve had a look at the issue and we have now passed to our Highways Officers for the team to assess what can be done to resolve the matter. We’ll let you know when the assessment has taken place.

Progress! We’ve completed our investigation and works are now planned. Once we know when work is due to take place we will let you know.

As of Feb 24th 2024 remedial works remain outstanding with problems continuing to affect drain & water on road. Please provide update for remedial works timeline. With thanks. Nigel Holmes.

Follow up request to the 24th Feb 2024, please advise schedule as to when remedial works will be done as every time we have rain, problem reoccurs with surface water on the road and splashing onto property as traffic passes. Thank you. Nigel Holmes. West Grange. Howell.
