The Esplanade/Pullover

Reported via desktop in the Pothole on road/cycleway category by Richard Robinson at 19:07, Sat 20 January 2024

Sent to Lincolnshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 489854.

The full length of the channel outside Millers Amusements to the Butchers. This is an old reinstatement which is failing badly. To make matters worse some has been filled but the rest left. You can clearly see from the pictures there was more to do, but then the lining team have painted in the potholes, it looks a bit ridiculous that a full decent job was not completed it would not have taken much longer to do a full repair as now you will have to come back to fill the large one’s which were missed.

  • At least they can be bothered when someone else reports it I reported this 3 MONTHS AGO

Posted by Peran Watkinson at 09:18, Tue 27 February 2024

  • It has now been a month since I was informed that the work was scheduled and nothing has happened. The road is just going to get busier now with the caravan parks opening, and the repair teams will struggle to get to the road edge because of the parking.

  • The image You've Posted shows That a patch of the road edge has been done not all the edge So Unfortunately you haven't finished the Work

Posted by Peran Watkinson at 12:53, Sat 23 March 2024

  • Unfortunately I have to agree with the other update. The road is not complete, however a lot of this was down to some thoughtless people moving the no parking cones that were placed there, this in turn stopped your team completing the work. The work they have completed is good it’s a shame they could not complete the rest. The no parking cones are still here and are scattered around maybe someone could come out earlier on the day with the team to stop people moving the cones.

    State changed to: Open

  • Please can someone come to have a look at Sandy Lane which runs along the side of Millers Arcade and other residential properties. This road is becoming very bad and starting to damage utility supplies and even the properties are showing signs of damp where the water from the pot holes are splashing against the buildings.

  • Sandy Lane isn't A Road maintained by LCC so they can't do anything to it
