Reported via mobile in the Dying or diseased tree category anonymously at 10:40, Thu 25 January 2024
Sent to Lincolnshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 490565.
(This verge is not on the land registry entries for Hunters moon, martindale or old skendleby lodge) Ash tree on verge outside Hunters Moon. Already lost 1 large branch onto Hunters moon garden - touching house when came down. Another large branch has moss growing along the length of the top of it. Large hole in trunk occupied by squirrels and magpies. Loses branches in high winds. Unsafe for both highway directly beneath and Hunters moon property. Tree has TPO - orig reg to our property but when we bought it in december 1988 we were not allowed to buy the verge and it is not on our deeds. No-one is looking after this tree and it appears unsafe.
