This issue is not ‘fixed’ The drains need to be inspected and cleared to find the cause of the problem. This has been reported on several occasions, dating back 3 months ago and no action apart from a small ‘flood’ sign.

Please advise how this was made safe as described “We’ve been to site and made this problem safe with a temporary repair” No repairs or actions were carried out, and what was the “temporary repair”? Acknowledging that a repair is needed is also identifying that this problem is avoidable, yet still no action since multiple reports of this issue dating back to December.

Please note these photos were taken shortly after 8am this morning. The road is flooded and will get worse before it gets better because of run off from the surrounding fields. The Railway Cottage in particular, is suffering from vehicle ‘bow waves’ every time some one drive through.

The road needs closing. Cars unable to see curbs causing damage to wheels. Water crashing at front doors due to waves of passing traffic. Still now help provided by Lincolnshire County Council on issues dating back to Dec 23.
