On this section of road there is a gap on the left which used to have a cycle painted on the road. This needs repainting as it's faded away. More importantly the road sign also needs changing so that it reads "Except buses and cycles".

Further to the above, I think it may be that a mandatory blue cycle sign is needed to the left of the cycle channel to make the layout clearer.
