Fen Road, junction with Main Road Little Hale

Sent to Lincolnshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 493078.

Again, for the second day, Fen Road is flooded. Villagers unable to leave. This problem has been reported many times, yet nobody in authority seems to care. THIS IS SOLVABLE BY IMPROVING THE DRAINAGE. Sewage is coming up as well, it has been reported, but nothing is done about it. Shameful

  • Great news, we’ve had a look at the issue and we have now passed to our Highways Officers for the team to assess what can be done to resolve the matter. We’ll let you know when the assessment has taken place.

    Again flooding, despite many appeals to the council. I have seen glaciers at the Arctic Circle moving faster (unfortunately) than the people responsible for this mess. The only thing they do without hesitation is to put up the rates

    Junction of Main Road/Fen Road completely under water halfway up Fen Road. Nobody came to close roads or pump off water. Again not able to leave or access properties.

  • We're sending you this message to let you know that we are currently investigating the cause of the flooding, it is likely that this occurred due to a number of reasons not least the severe storms we experienced and the drainage systems being at over capacity, once we have completed our investigations we may undertake works or request riparian land owners to address concerns with their land drainage. Thank you for reporting this matter.

  • And another flooding on junction of Main Road/Fen Road, halfway up Fen Road. Some people trapped, cannot leave or access their properties.
