Sent to Lincolnshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 493304.
3.5 foot long by 2 foot width and 6 inch deep. I was driving down the road at approximately 6.07pm on the 9th Feb 2024 when I hit this pot hole I was doing 40mph as it was very dark and foggy. I'm not sure how long it has been there but must have been a long time to be that big and deep. I called the police my incident number is Incident ref.. 364 09/02/2024 it has caused structure damage but unfortunately I can not afford to get my car into the garage to find out exactly what it is

On the Friday 9th February at approximately 6pm I was driving along this road in the dark at 40mph. I managed to get to a safe stopping area to assess the damage to my car. The tyre had been burst from what I could see. I had to leave my car over night and get picked up by a friend, as I had my children in the car and I didn’t feel safe waiting long there. When I went back the next day I rang my break down company, they sent a mobile tyre company to get my car in the road until I could get it to a garage on the Monday. The car need a new tyre supplied and fitted. The cost of this was £267. I was then informed the pot hole had buckled my wheel, which has cost me a further £102 to get repaired. Is there a process to go through to claim this back please?
