Drain on junction of Phillips Court and Water Street
Sent to Lincolnshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 493310.
This drain and the next one to the west are blocking and causing flooding across Water Street which causes spray from passing cars to flood the property on the corner of the junction. There is also a deep pothole around this drain. Please could you investigate and keep me informed. Thank you.

Great news, we’ve had a look at the issue and we have now passed to our Highways Officers for the team to assess what can be done to resolve the matter. We’ll let you know when the assessment has taken place.

We are sorry but we are not taking immediate action with this report because, the County has received a large amount of rainfall in a short space of time and as such we are having to prioritise flooding sites which pose a risk to life or significant risk of internal flooding. Work to clear the highway drainage system at the location is planned to take place in due course. Thank you for reporting this matter.
