Horse steps, Aswell St
Reported via mobile in the Trip hazard/uneven surface category anonymously at 00:40, Tuesday 13 February 2024
Sent to Lincolnshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 493418.
The horse steps in Aswell St, Louth have recently had a 'repair', which makes them no longer steps. They have paved the top two sections, which would have been the top two steps, so it is now a steep ish slope, I feel it is slippery even when it isn't icy and I can foresee a fall or two in the future.
There is also a tourist sign stating that, I'm paraphrasing, These horse steps are peculiar to Lincolnshire and have been restored to their former state. This obviously is no longer the case because they wouldn't have been paved.
