We have an update. Our highways team have issued this work out to one of their delivery gangs. We’ll let you know when the job is complete.

The County has received a large amount of rainfall in a short space of time and as such we are having to prioritise flooding sites which pose a risk to life or significant risk of internal flooding. It’s worth noting that at times of extreme weather even well-maintained drains can become overwhelmed and at the moment gullies may not be able to drain away into watercourses and sewers which are at capacity or backing up. Should you feel your property is at risk your first action should be to contact the emergency services who will assess the situation and act accordingly. Whilst the report does indicate property flooding we do need further information before a more detailed investigation can take place. I will pass this to the Flood Risk Team.
