This is at school leaving time. People are stepping off the path into the road and into driveways. There will be an accident. I saw an old lady hanging onto a telegraph pole to get round the water. This is 3pm, it is going to rain for another 3 hours. The gulleys are blocked, no matter that are on record as having been cleaned a year ago.

We have an update. Our highways team have issued this work out to one of their delivery gangs. We’ll let you know when the job is complete.
