Holly house Donington
Reported via desktop in the Other road surface issue category anonymously at 02:11, Tue 27 February 2024
Sent to Lincolnshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 496261.
Road surface for 600 metres either side of Holly House (Homefire coal yard) has potholes, previous repairs breaking up and general poor road surface. road surface is breaking up and chunks of top surface breaking away. some parts of road are dangerous and could damage vehicles. This section has been reported many times over the last 2 to 3 years but nothing ever seems to be done. seriously thinking about going to local and national press, maybe local television to highlight the poor state of this section of the A52.

How can this not require repair? In places there are 3 to 4 inches difference in road surface levels. Previous repairs have broken up on edge of repair. People that know this section of road travelling westbound especially move over white line to other side of carriageway if safe to so so to avoid damaging their vehicles. This section of road is an utter disgrace. Maybe if some important councillors travel it everyday it would be repaired. Council tax rise again but roads getting worse. Time to go to local and national press.
