The road is circa 70% flooded following moderate rain for the day
Reported via iOS in the Blocked drain category by Pete Holland at 16:54, Sun 10 March 2024
Sent to Lincolnshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 498307.
I report this issue regularly, it is believed that the highways drain is partly collapsed here as it floods across the road pretty much every time we get even moderate rain. This issue was closed earlier in the year citing exceptional weather, it was closed again a few weeks ago citing that the outfall may be backed up. This drain is at least 10m above the outfall point at the stream and is also connected to the other highways drains in the village (that are not flooding). There is a structural fault here that needs cctv inspecting to diagnose. Property gardens are again starting to flood directly as a result of this.
