Radcliffe Road, corner with Northumberland Avenue opposite nos 49 - 55 Radcliffe Road

Reported via desktop in the Wheel tracks or ruts category anonymously at 20:44, Wednesday 13 March 2024

Sent to Lincolnshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 498852.

The bollard at the end of the verge has been knocked down and already vehicles are driving over the edge of the verge. This will soon escalate and result in more bollards being knocked down. Please, ' a stitch in time saves nine' so could you please erect the fallen bollard as a matter of urgency. Many thanks.

  • We are sorry but we are not taking immediate action with this report because the area of verges are areas where vehicles are allowed to park at their risk. Currently no action to be taken but will monitor during future inspections. Thank you for reporting this matter.

  • This is bizarre! These bollards were put in less than a year ago, precisely to stop vehicles driving over the the edge of the verge and destroying the planting!! Please reconsider putting your bollard back. Thank you.

  • Could I have an update, please, as to when the bollard you erected will be put back in place? Thank you.

  • Council have said they will neither replace this bollard or enforce parking restrictions on the opposite green space DESPITE SKDC signs saying "strictly no vehicles"!! Ridiculous.

  • Please could the council reconsider their response. Thank you
