Along the Cranwell Avenue

Reported via desktop in the Tree blocking a street light category by Sarah Daley at 09:41, Friday 15 March 2024

Sent to Lincolnshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 499132.

Trees are overgrown and blocking the lighting on the pathways. This is dangerous as the route between the Stadium car Park and the RAFAKIDZ nursery lighting is shielded by the trees. This was worse when it was winter months as transiting children and adults after 16:00 was dark and not lit at all. As the clocks are changing soon this will not be so much of an issue, but i am raising it as if left unattended it will only worsen for autumn. The lighting doesnt always work in all street lights and the trees covering the lights compound the issue. The lighting is also only on one side of the street and the other side is thick trees so no lighting from the stadium car park is seen, between the trees the footpaths slabs are uneven (most likely caused by tree roots) and that is another health and safety hazard.
