Private drive of Meg House J/W Lincoln Road

Reported via desktop in the Sign (unlit) category anonymously at 07:19, Wed 20 March 2024

Sent to Lincolnshire County Council 3 hours, 6 minutes later. Council ref: 2800020.

THIS IS COMPLAINT 2 of 2 with additional photographs of the new speed limit signs erected on Lincoln Road near the bypass roundabout

These 3 photos show the ridiculous and dangerous positioning of the new sign and post erected by you which is within the drop kerb boundary of my private drive which leads to Meg House This is a hazard as it causes further obstructions to the view to the right towards the bypass roundabout and is dangerous and requires immediate removal along with the soil and stones left by your work force

Please answer to the following by email

Why was the sign erected in its current position at the end of my driveway when there is a clear and obvious sign stating private driveway, which shows it is constant use

Why position a sign post where is impacts on the views and safety of myself and family

Why positions both new signs where they are completely obstructed by existing signs

Why not simply fit the new 30mph signs onto the existing old 40mph sign posts?

Why put virtually see through bags over the old 40mph signs when they are illuminated and the 40 remain clearly visable

Why have to made these obvious and dangerous errors that will require rectification and further waste public money

I await your urgent answers and comments
