Culvert under the road outside 75 Main St, Wilsford.

Reported via mobile in the Damaged dyke, ditch or culvert category by Janis Smith at 09:45, Sat 23 March 2024

Sent to Lincolnshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 2800483.

Although this matter has been taken off Fixmystreet it is not resolved. When LCC Highways flushed the culvert following the 3rd flood in 3 months they reported the pipe was damaged under the road leading to silt build up in the pipe. This causes water to escape via manhole at the end of the garden of number 75 and cause flooding to 73 Main St and 1 Townend.

Work carried out by householder at 75 has ensured that water can exit the field behind the property, thus preventing the type of flood the inundated numbers 67 and 69.

The culvert was under the road prior to our Houses being built
