  • Thank you Lincolnshire County council for coming to fix our street. It is very much appreciated. however our street is full of previous repairs done in 2 ways, one where the tarmac is just laid on what ever is there and another where the surface has been prepared, cut and cleaned. This current repair is the former. The tarmac has in most cases just been laid on mud and grass. In some places there is already an inch dent in the new tarmac where a car has driven over it after only a few hours. I'm delighted you guys have been out, but sorry the repairs will not last the winter and I'll be logging another fault.

  • Here is an example of the 2 types of repairs on our road: 1. The long lasting cut out, cleaned and prepared, 2. No preparation, already squashed into the grass. I think we'd have preferred the repair done properly on half the road this year and then the rest next year, instead of having to come back next year to repair the same holes. Sorry, your efforts are appreciated and i hope these comments help improvements in your processes.
