The whole of Airfield lane from junction to juntion

Reported via desktop in the Pothole on road/cycleway category anonymously at 00:05, Thursday 11 April 2024

Sent to Lincolnshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 2802946.

The sheer number, size, width, and depth of the potholes on the entire lane from top to bottom are having a huge impact on lorries, cars, cyclists, and pedestrians. You will see cars slow to a stop to navigate around the potholes, and even then, hear a massive crunch as they inevitably bottom out in said potholes. Cyclists actively avoid the lane as it’s impassable for them, and as for walkers of any type, they gain an extra 2 miles’ worth of steps as they have to zigzag the entire lane in order to keep the ankles they use for walking intact. This has been a problem since about 2020; when work has been carried out, only the very worst offenders have been “patched,” and anything else has simply been left to become a future problem.
